Amansie West Rural Bank donates towards Farmers’ day
Amansie West Rural Bank Limited, has donated items valued at GH¢ GH 11, 00.00 to three District Assemblies, as part of their social responsibility towards this year’s National Farmers Day Celebration.
The items included one Motor Tricycle (Aboboyaa), 60 knapsack Sprayer Machines, one Table Top Fridge and one Double Decker Fridge. The three assemblies included, Amansie West District, Bekwai Municipal and Adanse North District.
The Head of Marketing for the Bank, Mr. Albert Adu Gyamfi who presented the items to the districts said, the bank was proud to be associated with the effort at celebrating the hard working farmer for their immense contribution to socio-economic development of the nation.
According to Mr Adu Gyamfi, the presentation was aimed at supporting the awards to be presented to the farmers, who had worked very hard to feed the nation and also support the national economy.
He said the bank would continue to support the agriculture sector since it had created many jobs for the youth.
Mr Adu Gyamfi said the bank apart from providing excellent financial services to its customers would continue to give back to society.
The co-ordinating Director for Amansie West District Assembly, Mr J.T Ababio who received the bicycles on behalf of the Assemblies said he is very grateful for the donation and appealed to other financial Institutions to emulate the example.
Mr Ababio expressed gratitude to the Board and Management of the Bank and hoped that it would go a long way to assist the farmers to celebrate the occasion in a befitting way.
