A devastating fire outbreak has destroyed a three-bedroom house at Moeshe Zongo, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, leaving one person in critical condition.

The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, according to residents.
According to an eyewitness, a loud explosion was heard in one of the rooms shortly before the fire broke out.

A man in his 40s sustained injuries and is currently receiving treatment at the Tafo Hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.
In an interview with OTEC fm news reporters, Maame Akosuah Gyamfuaa Sunday and Kwame Agyenim Boateng, residents said that by the time the Ghana National Fire Service arrived at the scene, three rooms had already been completely destroyed, with nothing salvaged from them.

Despite difficulties in accessing the source of the fire, some local youth assisted in bringing the blaze under control.
The cause of the fire is not immediately known as fire officials continue to investigate the incident.
The residents are still trying to come to terms with the loss of their property, and the injured person is receiving treatment.
The community is rallying around the affected family during this difficult time.
