The fund aims to guarantee the welfare of the children of the victims who suffered in the helicopter crash.

Following the President’s announcement, Stanbic Bank swiftly donated GH₵ 500,000 to the fund in support of the government’s initiative.

Giving updates on the fund, Dr. Valerie Sawyer, Coordinator of the fund and Senior Presidential Advisor on Governmental Affairs, expressed the government’s gratitude to Stanbic Bank for providing the seed money.

She noted that this gesture has encouraged other companies and entities to donate, contributing to the fund’s success so far.

Dr. Sawyer has called on the public to support the fund as the government seeks to secure the future of the children of the eight individuals who lost their lives in the fatal crash.
