GJA swears in new Ashanti Regional Executives, calls for unity

The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has sworn in new executives for the Ashanti Regional chapter for a three year mandate

The newly elected executives, Chairman Kofi Adu Domfe, Vice Chairman Nicholas Osei-Wusu, Secretary Beatrice Spio-Gabra, and Regional Treasurer Dr. Neta Kris Abiana Parsram were officially sworn in on Thursday September 4,2025.

The ceremony, held at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council, was led by GJA National President Albert Dwumfour.

The event drew journalists, representatives from the police, MTN Ghana, Electricity Company of Ghana, Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, and other state departments and agencies.

In his charge, President Dwumfour urged the new executives to work together, amplify the voices of the marginalized, unite the association’s base in the region, and improve its members.

The newly sworn-in Chairman, Kofi Adu Domfe, thanked the association for the confidence reposed in them and pledged to chart a path of unity, inclusivity, and progress for the association.
