Kofi Job Foundation saves dying cancer patient with ghc 80k medical fund

Renowned road contractor Kofi Gyebi Job and his wife, Mrs. Esther Gyebi, have saved the life of a young cancer patient, Savior Agyei, with an GHC 80,000 medical fund donation.

The child was diagnosed with Leukemia, a  cancer of the blood, and was on an emergency list at the Kumasi South Hospital in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

The family couldn’t afford the treatment, leaving them helpless as they waited for the inevitable.

However, upon learning about the situation,Mr  Kofi Gyebi Job and his wife, through the Kofi Job Foundation, stepped in to provide the full treatment cost.

Following the support, Savior has undergone a series of treatments, transitioning from an emergency situation to a stable condition.

During a visit to the hospital on Monday, January 12, 2026, the Public Relations Officer for the Kofi Job Foundation Kwame Agyenim Boateng met with Savior’s mother, Juliana Gyebi.

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Juliana recounted her desperation: “On the first day of our visit, we needed 5,000 cedis for scans, medicine, and other expenses. I had nothing and felt I was going to lose my precious daughter” .

Thanks to Mr. Kofi Gyebi Job and his wife, they generously donated this huge amount, a sum I never thought I’d see in my lifetime.”

Pediatric Oncologist Dr. Alimatu Salam confirmed Savior’s critical condition due to the family’s financial struggles.

“After the Kofi Job Foundation’s donation, her treatment has progressed smoothly, and her health has improved significantly,” she said, praising the foundation’s life-saving gesture
