A/R: Motorcycle Rider Killed, Another Critical Condition in Offinso Accident
A motorcyclist has lost his life, and another is in critical condition after a collision with a Toyota Voxy vehicle at Offinso Deppaul Junction in the Ashanti Region.
The accident, which occurred on Saturday, January 31, 2026, has left the deceased, yet to be identified, with severe head injuries.
Eyewitnesses told OTEC News that the driver of the Toyota Voxy, with registration number AS 6119-25, was attempting to overtake another vehicle when he collided with the motorcycle.
One of the riders fell onto the ground, and the motorcycle allegedly ran over his head, causing fatal injuries.
The injured were rushed to a hospital in Offinso, where the deceased was pronounced dead.
The police have taken over the investigation, and the case is ongoing
The incident has shocked the local community, and authorities are urging drivers to exercise caution on the roads.
