Church of Pentecost, Ejurahene host mega Prayerfest for Ghana’s development

The Church of Pentecost (COP) in collaboration with the Ejura Divisional Council has organized a mega prayer festival for Ghana and Ejuraman and Ghana
The prayer, dubbed Ejura Prayerfest, aimed to pray and solicit God’s guidance for not only Ejura communities but Asanteman and Ghana as a whole.
Held at Ejura on Friday, March 20, 2026, the event was led by the Mampong Area Head for the COP, Ejurahene Barimah Osei Hwedie II, among other dignitaries.
The Prayerfest was on the theme “If my People will Pray, I will heal their land” and it brought together hundreds of believers who committed the nation to God.
Addressing the church, Ejurahene Barimah Osei Hwedie II expressed happiness for the opportunity to commit his land to God.
“Ejuraman is full of happiness today, for the Church to choose Ejura for this prayerfest is a huge opportunity for us here,” he said.
“When the area head decided to bring the event to Ejura, I readily accepted the decision knowing how important God is to our development.”
Barimah Osei Hwedie II thanked the leadership of the church for the opportunity.
For his part, the Mampong Area Head for COP, Pastor Kojo Anormah, underscored the importance of praying for the land.
“God in its own infinite wisdom asked us to pray for our nation, so we at the Church of Pentecost take this move seriously,” he said.
“We have a firm belief God’s presence in the country is key to developing it.”
He commended the Ejurahene Barimah Osei Hwedie II and his council for embracing the event.
