Roads Minister tours Kumasi projects, assesses progress on Suame Interchange

The Minister for Roads and Highways, Governs Kwame Agbodza, is on a working visit to Kumasi to assess progress on the Suame Interchange and other ongoing road projects.

The inspection tour took the Minister to key project sites, including the Ejisu stretch of the Ring Road, the Santasi Roundabout–Ahodwo dual carriageway, and the Suame Interchange.

Construction activities have resumed at several of these locations, with contractors returning to site following the recent settlement of outstanding payments owed by government.

At the Suame Interchange, notable progress has been recorded, particularly on the stretch leading towards the Melcom Shopping Mall area, where works are steadily advancing.

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Frank Amoakohene, is accompanying the Roads Minister on the inspection tour.
