Kumasi: Fire guts stalls, goods at Tafo Moro market

A fire has destroyed stalls and merchandise at Tafo Moro Market, a major second-hand shoe trading centre in the Old Tafo Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

The blaze has disrupted trading, leaving affected traders to assess their losses and clear debris from their burnt stalls.

During a visit to the market, OTEC News observed some traders salvaging what they could from the remains of their stalls.

The incident comes days after two other fire outbreaks in Kumasi, adding to the losses suffered by traders.

The affected traders are appealing to the government and relevant authorities for assistance to help them recover their losses and resume trading.
