The Ghana Education Service (GES) has said final-year students in Junior High Schools across the country will select their preferred Senior High Schools after completing the Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE).
“Management wishes to assure all the candidates that they will have up to three weeks after the writing of the BECE to do their schools selection,” Cassandra Twum Ampofo, Head of Public Relations at GES noted in a statement on Thursday, 1 June 2018.
GES has, therefore, allayed the fears of the students over the delay in the selection process, which it has attributed to technical hitches, and encouraged the students “not to be distracted by this development” as they prepare for their final examinations.
