A/R: Uber driver beheaded in Kumasi (Video+ pictures)
The decapitated body of a middle aged Uber driver Israel Agyei Manu has been found in a bush at Atonsu-Feyiase in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region.
The man who is also a headteacher of a private school at Atonsu in Kumasi is said to have visited his fiancee at Feyiase and told her he has been booked by some people and was going to drop them off.
According to some residents in the area, they heard some one screaming for help at about 11:a-m on Sunday July 4,2021 but could not go to the bush where the noise came from.
They added that they later came to discover the deceased’s body without his head.
The Assembly Member of Feyiase – Akoyem Electoral Area, Hon Kwae Samuel told OTEC News Kwame Agyenim Boateng that residents at the New site discovered Uber driver Israel Agyei Manu’s body in front of an uncompleted building with blood oozing from the body.
He added that it was not yet known who the deceased is, as residents in the area failed to identified the person.
The severed head of the deceased was later found in a bush closed to where the suspected murder was conducted
Police has deposited the body at the Pramso Hospital Morgue, while investigations are ongoing
