President Akufo-Addo has condemned description by US President Donald Trump with regards to Africa and some countries.
The US President dominated headlines by describing Africa, Haiti and El Salvador -also said to have been targeted as shithole.
In a Facebook message, President Akufo-Addo described his comments as unfortunate.
He said Ghana is not a shithole and will not accept such insults even from a friendly nation no matter how powerful they are.

The language of US President Donald Trump that the African continent, Haiti and El Salvador are “shithole countries” is extremely unfortunate. Ghana is certainly not a “shithole country”. We will not accept such insults, even from a leader of a friendly country, no matter how powerful.”
