Abu Ramadan
Former Youth Organiser of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Abu Ramadan has demanded that the party’s General Secretary and National Chairman resign for failing to perform their responsibilities.
Abu Ramadan speaking to OTEC NEWS on Tuesday; 11th October; 2016 said Atik Muhammad and Bernard Mornah who are the General Secretary and National Chairman respectively ought to resign for failing to effectively supervise the filling and filing of Presidential nomination forms of its flagbearer, Dr Edward Mahama.
Dr Edward Mahama was among the 12 persons disqualified from the Presidential race for failing to meet one regulation or another in the filling of nomination forms.
Dr Nasigri Mahama was disqualified for the following reasons:
a. Many subscribers did not properly sign the forms. Thumbprints, signatures or marks were omitted all together. For instance, no signatures on Page 16, 24, 28.
b. Two subscribers to Dr. Mahama’s nominations also subscribed for another presidential candidate.”
And this, Abu Ramadan insisted has brought disgrace upon the party which has successfully partook in every national election since 1992.
“It is not my duty as a former youth organizer, it is their job and they have failed and I am calling on them that if they have got some little molecules of respect left, then I am calling on them to resign,” he demanded.
