Matilda Asare congratulates Nana Akufo-Addo
Ghanaian actress, Matilda Asare has congratulated the flag bearer of the NPP and president elect Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo on his Victory in the 2016 presidential elections.
On her Instagram account, the actress wrote; ” Congratulations Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the president-elect of the republic of Ghana.”
The electoral commission on Friday the 9th of December 2016 declared the flag bearer of the NPP as the winner of the 2016 presidential elections.
Later in a short video, Matilda Asare commended her colleagues especially Agya Koo who in September led some of them to initiate the agenda 57% aimed at canvasing massive votes Nana Addo in the 2016 elections.
She commended Ghanaians for maintaining the peace in the country and thanked God for his mercies during, before and after the elections.
“I am proud to be a Ghanaian” she said.
Matilda Asare played a vital role for the NPP during the campaign period and was left in charge of some NPP campaign activities in the united States of America where she is now based.
