We cannot change figures – EC chair

EC chair Madam Charlotte Osei has assured Ghanaians that the commission cannot change election result figures.

At a brief press conference to allay fears of anxious Ghanaians who have been waiting to hear who will lead the country in the next 4 years, Charlotte Osei explained that the commission needs a little more time to come out with correct figures and announce the winner of the 2016 elections.

According to her, the commission has received results from 210 out of the 275 constituencies so far and are in the process of collating at the national collation centre for declaration.
She was optimistic that the final declaration will be done tomorrow as promised by the commission.
