KUMACA 1988 Group Assists Alma Mater

The 1988 Old Students Association of the Kumasi Academy Senior High School at Asokore  Mampong in  the Kumasi  Metropolis on Tuesday 24th October 2017 assisted their Alma Matter ultra modern Robin Mower to the school to assist their labour work.

Making the presentation on behalf of the Group, Pastor Doku Emmanuel, secretary of the Association expressed the Group’s delight in coming together to mobilise support for its alma mater, stressing that such an initiative was key on the group’s agenda and it featured prominently, when members came together via the social media.

Pastor Doku Emmanuel explained that the gesture was from individual contributions of members of the group to enhance academic work, following an appeal by the school authorities.

‘’We are aware the school needs expansion in its infrastructure facilities and we assure that, together with other year groups, we will contribute our quota towards the development of our alma mater with even bigger projects in mind,” he said.

He also commended the management and staff of the school for the total transformation, discipline and commitment of the students.

Pastor Doku Emmanuel entreated the students to be committed to their studies.

Rev. Sylvester Osei Wusu, the Headmaster of the school, who received the donation, commended the group for giving back to their Alma Mater.

He noted that their assistance will be put to good use to help the school achieve the aim for which it was given.
