Bosomtwe MP holds consultative forum.
Member of Parliament for the Bosomtwe Constituency in the Ashanti region, Hon Dr Osei Yaw Adutwum has organised a consultative forum with his constituents as part of plans to ensure massive development in the area.
The forum which was held at the forest gate hotel at Feyiase in the Bosomtwe constituency was attended by politicians of all political parties in the area, heads of various government institutions, security capos, opinion leaders as well as traditional rulers.
The forum enabled them to meet, discuss and deliberate on issues and challenges facing the Bosomtwe constituency and find lasting solutions. Issues which were discussed at the forum included education, health, security, sanitation and several others which bordered on the well-being of the constituents.
Speaking in an interview with OTEC fm’s Evans AgyeiSikapa, the Bosomtwe lawmaker who doubles as the Deputy Education minister stated that problems in the area have already been identified but residents and stakeholders were needed to proffer appropriate solutions.
“Many people and leaders have great ideas which must be collated and put on paper for implementation” he explained.
Hon Osei Yaw Adutwum added that a committee is to be formed to study the views collected from the forum in order to get a blue print and development plan for the transformation of Bosomtwe. “I have my Constituency at heart and therefore will do everything to ensure massive development together with my people”, he added.
