President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has held bilateral talks with the visiting Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani at Peduase Lodge.
Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived in Ghana last night on a two -day official visit.
The two Heads of State will then supervise the signing of five Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) between Ghana and Qatar.
It may be recalled that President Akufo-Addo, on Thursday, November 16, 2017, as part of his 3-day official visit Qatar, paid a courtesy call on the Emir.
During the visit, the discussions of two leaders centered on energy, infrastructural development, railways and roads, and, also on the need to co-operate strategically for the mutual benefit of the two countries and their respective populations.
The reciprocal visit of the Emir of Qatar to Ghana from December 23-24, is expected to firm up the agreements reached between the two leaders last November.
