Female radio presenter found murdered at home
Police Detectives are investigating the “particularly brutal” murder of a popular community radio presenter at Dess Fm after her body was found at her home at Asante Bekwai in the Ashanti region.
A statement issued and signed by the General manager of Dess Fm, Mr. Gordon Donkor said, the security agencies have started their investigations after the body of Ama Agyeiwaa Kodie (Portia), 31, was found dead on Sunday evening in the n Mr Bentil’s building ( Green Annex) Bekwai around 6:00pm.
Mr. Gordon Donkor said staff were in shock and were planning to broadcast a memorial programme.
She was just such a bubbly, jolly person “She was a very, very nice person and I don’t think anyone out there will say anything bad about her. She was just a very, very caring person and we’ve lost a family member who can’t be replaced.”

We are with a heavy heart to announce that our lead news caster/front desk personality at DESS FM, Ama Agyeiwaa Kodie ( Portia) has been murdered in cold blood in her room on Sunday 15th April, 2018.
She was found in a pool of blood at her residence in Mr Bentil’s building ( Green Annex) Bekwai around 6:00pm.
Police have commenced investigations into the case and are appealing to anyone with any information on that barbaric act to assist them in their investigations.
