President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said Ashesi University can now award its own certificates and degrees after the university received documents covering the Presidential Charter.
Mr Akufo-Addo, who was the Special Guest of Honour at the school’s 2018 Graduation Ceremony on Saturday, 23 June 2018, wrote on Facebook after the ceremony that: “The University, at the Graduation Ceremony, received its own Presidential Charter. Henceforth, Ashesi would award its own certificates and degrees”.
“I trust sincerely that the receipt of this Charter will inspire Ashesi University to continue to operate with the same discipline, commitment and love of country that we have observed over the years.”
