Suspected armed robbers gun down man, 47, at Achiase – Wansamire

A 47-year old man believed has been gun down by some suspected armed robbers at Achiase – Wansamire in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti Region.

The deceased, whose name was only given as “Yesu Mogya”, a cement dealer was said to have been gunned down by the robbers during an operation in the area.

 Some witness in and interview with OTEC News reporters Kwame Agyenim and Atta Boateng Snr who visited the area said the victim was shot when he run after the robbers on Sunday October 2, 2022.

I was in my house when i  heard the gun shot so rushed out and saw people crying.

It was later immerged that the deceased was chasing the suspected robbers after they embarked an operation in some houses in the area, and was subsequently shot in the head “One of the residents unanimously spoke to OTEC News.

Body of the deceased as of the time of filing this report was still at the scene as police in the area had not come to the scene yet.
