New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential hopeful, Mr John Alan Kwadjo Kyerematen, has stormed the Ashanti Regional capital Kumasi to meet and address delegates ahead of the party’s presidential primaries.
The enthused delegates gave Mr Kyerematen a rousing welcome as he toured the region with his campaign team.
The former trade minister, Allan Kwadwo Kyeremateng, has arrived in Kumasi with thousands of NPP supporters meeting his presence at the Kumasi airport.
Addressing His royal Majesty Otumfuor Osei Tutu ll, the former minister stated the reason for his resignation as the trade minister of the nation which is his ambition to lead the NPP government in the 2024 general elections.
Mr.Kyeremateng was at the Manhyia Palace to seek blessings and support of His royal Majesty, Otumfuor Osei Tutu ll.
He added that he did his best to put in place w number of things that are positive for the betterment of the country and promised to continue his good works when giving the flagbearership position and becomes the president of the 4threpublic.
In response to the address of the former minister, His royal Majesty, Otumfuor Osei Tutu ll said, He is very sure that all contesters will come for his blessings and support, but in the long run they should all give their support to the one who would be elected.
He continued to advise that the contesters should always bring Ghana first in every decision they make before their party’s interest.
