Bono East NPP Regional Chairman wishes Muslims blessed end to Ramadan

The Bono East Regional Chairman for the governing New Patriotic Party NPP Mr Ibrahim Bukahri Baba, aka Game Changer has conveyed warm greetings and sincere blessings to Muslims for observing a successful Ramadan.
The NPP chairman as part of his message to the Muslims saluted them and asked for God’s blessings to them for taking part in this year’s Ramadan.
The NPP stalwart in an exclusive interview with OTEC News Reporter Jacob Agyenim Boateng on Wednesday April 10, 2024,noted that, while Ramadan is mandatory for all Muslims except the sick, the aged, pregnant women, only individuals who are dedicated to Allah take part in the fasting period.
He describe Ramadan as a time for prayer, fasting spiritual introspection and unity, adding that it was important to support Muslims during this sacred time.
“Fasting is beyond abstaining from food, drink and sex, it involves self-deprivation, devotion, commitment, care, reflection,” he said stressing that the essence of fasting is to attain righteousness through self-restraint.
This is the more reason why I am particularly commending all Muslims for being part of Ramadan.
He however called on them to remain committed to the peace and harmony of the country and contribute their quota to Ghana’s development.
