A/R: Police Confirm Arrest of Three Suspects in Mobile Money Vendor Murders

The Ashanti Regional Police Command has made a breakthrough in the investigation into the robbery and murder of two mobile money vendors in the region.

Three suspects, identified as Charles Kwame Danso,23, Philip Foujour, 29,and Samuel Audae Mensah, 42, were arrested on March 21, 2025, at Pankrono and Atimatim, respectively.
The suspects are linked to the murder of Patricia Nimako, who was killed during a robbery at Krofrom on February 13, 2025.
They are also connected to the murder of Gideon Owusu Sarpong, alias “Junior”, who was robbed and killed at his residence in Kwadaso on March 10, 2025.
The police are still searching for a fourth suspect, Martin Amoah, also known as Augustine Amaoh or “Baba Macho”, who is believed to be hiding in Kumasi, Dunkwa-on-Offin, or Accra.
The public is urged to assist in the search by contacting the police via the toll-free number 191 or 112.
The Ashanti Regional Police Command remains committed to ensuring justice is served and urges the public to remain vigilant in helping to bring all responsible individuals to justice.
