120 Days in Office: President Mahama’s good policies bringing relief to Ghanaians – Abass Nurudeen

Abass Nurudeen, Chief Executive Officer for Social Investment Fund (SIF)

The Chief Executive Officer for Social Investment Fund (SIF), Abass Nurudeen, has praised President John Dramani Mahama, saying no president in the fourth republic has had a significant impact on the lives of ordinary Ghanaians in their first 120 days in office like President Mahama.

According to him, the good works of President Mahama have started showing pragmatic results, impacting positively on the country’s economy.

Speaking to Dr. Cash on the Kumasi-based OTEC 102.9 FM’s afternoon political show “Dwabrem” on Thursday, Abass Nurudeen attributed this success to the good policies rolled out by the president.

Using the exchange rate as a case study, Abass Nurudeen noted a significant drop in the exchange rate, strengthening the cedi, which has brought huge relief to traders and consumers alike.

He stressed that the stable exchange rate has led to a drop in fuel prices, which in turn has positively affected food prices.

Abass Nurudeen highlighted that food items such as maize and rice have seen a significant drop in prices, bringing relief to consumers.

This, according to him, is the result of a leader with good policies who is ready to work for the betterment of ordinary Ghanaians.

Abass Nurudeen called on the public to support President Mahama to keep this good momentum for a better Ghana.
