MTN Ghana impacts millions through over 200 Corporate Social Responsibility projects

Telecommunications giant MTN Ghana has announced the successful implementation of over 200 major corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects across the country, impacting millions of Ghanaians.

According to Georgina Asare, Senior Manager for Corporate Communications at MTN Ghana, these projects span various sectors, including health, education, and economic empowerment.

The projects she said have been spread across all 16 regions of Ghana.

She said this when MTN Ghana engaged Media and other stakeholders in the Ashanti Region on Thursday August 28,2025.

Speaking to OTEC News Reporter Kwame Agyenim Boateng after the event, Asare revealed that 90 of the projects are in the education sector.

These include the construction of school buildings, ICT centers, and robotics centers. Additionally, 57 projects are in the health sector, providing health centers, wards, and medical equipment to communities.

Eighteen other projects focus on economic empowerment initiatives.

Asare emphasized that these projects have significantly improved the living conditions of millions of people, making a positive impact on their lives.

She reiterated MTN Ghana’s commitment to investing more in CSR initiatives and expressed gratitude to journalists in the Ashanti Region for their support of the MTN brand.

The company looks forward to continuing its collaboration with stakeholders, including the media, to deliver better services and create more value for the communities it serves.
