Kumasi : Man stabbed to death by suspected thieves at Kejetia
A man believed to be in his early 40s has been stabbed to death by suspected thieves at Kumasi Kejetia in the Ashanti Region.
According to eyewitnesses who spoke to OTEC News reporter Kwame Agyenim Boateng, the incident occurred near the Kumasi Children’s Hospital.
The victim was reportedly attacked by the suspects who attempted to snatch his traveling bag on the we e hours of Tuesday May 26,2026.
He was stabbed multiple times after resisting the attack.
Witnesses say he was walking from the Cultural Centre stretch toward the Kejetia bus terminal when the assailants struck.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be confirmed.
Police have retrieved the body and deposited it at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue.
Authorities have since commenced investigations into the killing as they work to apprehend the suspects behind the attack.
