Man, 50, killed as gas blast rips his body apart

A 50-year – old Carbide Welder has met his untimely death when a gas cylinder exploded and ripped his body apart is a horrific manner at the Suame Magazine in the Ashanti Region

The deceased, Kwabena Afriyie, a native of Offinso, according to the report was working on a car when the liquid oxygen cylinder exploded leading to his death

The sad incident according eye witness occurred on Monday March 25,2024

One of the witness, Mr Saani Abubarkar in an interview with OTEC News Reporter Jacob Agyenim Boateng said the deceased died instantly after the incident

They revealed that, the deceased had his body mutilated after the explosion

Police in the area have taking over the accident scene investigating the incident.
