Lawyer Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, Parliamentary Candidate for Manhyia South Constituency, has confidently declared that residents in the Ashanti Region will overwhelmingly reject the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 polls, regardless of their promises.
Speaking at the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) mega health walk in the region on Saturday, Awuah emphasized that the NPP’s unprecedented development in the Ashanti Region makes a strong case for residents to support the party.
“The NPP’s transformational projects in the region are unbelievable, and the residents will not forget this,” he stated.
Awuah criticized the NDC for consistently neglecting the region’s needs, rendering them undeserving of votes.
He urged residents to reward the NPP’s commitment to development with their votes.
The health walk, which drew thousands of NPP supporters, demonstrated the party’s strong grassroots presence in the region.
Awuah’s remarks underscore the NPP’s optimism about retaining the Ashanti Region’s support in the upcoming elections.
With the 2024 polls approaching, the NPP is intensifying its campaign, highlighting its development achievements and contrasting them with the NDC’s perceived neglect of the region.
