Afua Kobi Ampem Girls’ SHS Emerges as Regional Champion in 68th Independence Day Quiz Competition
In a thrilling competition, Afua Kobi Ampem Girls’ Senior High School has made history by emerging as the Ashanti Regional Champion of the 68th Independence Day Quiz Competition.
The school defeated strong contenders, including Prempeh College and Nsutaman Catholic Senior High School, the defending national champion.
The winning team from Afua Kobi Ampem Girls’ S.H.S. consisted of four talented students: Stephanie Anyeweibei, Mabel Gyakyie, Victoria Apau, and Elsie Osei, the Assistant Head Girl.
To reach the regional championship, the school successfully navigated the Inter-District Stage, Inter-Zonal Stage, and Super-Zonal Stage.
With this impressive win, Afua Kobi Ampem Girls’ S.H.S. has secured a spot in the National Stage of the competition, scheduled to take place on February 14, 2025.
The school’s success is attributed to the dedication and hard work of the students, as well as the guidance of their coordinators: Solomon Ayaamo, Sasu Joseph Isaac Mensah, Collins Baidoo, and Kwaku Adomako.
