The Member of Parliament for Manso Nkwanta, Hon. Tweneneboah Kodua Fokuo, has warned that investors are closely watching the situation in Ghana’s judiciary system, particularly with regards to perceived political meddling.

Speaking on the Kumasi-based OTEC 102.9 FM’s morning show Nyansapo, the NPP MP expressed concerns about the potential impact on the country’s investment climate.

According to Dr. Forkuo, investors are increasingly cautious about investing in Ghana due to concerns about the independence and impartiality of the judiciary.

 He emphasized that any perceived political interference in the judicial system could have far-reaching consequences for the country’s economy.

The MP’s concerns come amid ongoing debates about the suspension of the Chief Justice Gertrude Torkonoo by President John Dramani Mahama
