
The Miracle Mother and Child Foundation (MAMAC) has made a generous donation to maternal patients at Saint Jude Hospital in Obuasi, in the Obuasi municipality in the Ashanti region.
The foundation distributed essential items such as diapers, wipes, and soap to mothers in the maternity ward as part of its 2025 Mothers’ Day celebration.

According to the organization the donation made on Saturday, May 10, 2025, aims to bring smiles to the faces of mothers and to support them in their care giving journeys.

An Executive Member of MAMAC, Mrs Martha Duah, said such initiatives reflect MAMAC’s commitment to the welfare of mothers and their children.
Personal Connection
Explaining the choice of Saint Jude Hospital for this year’s donation, Mrs. Duah revealed that the CEO of the foundation was born at this very hospital.
“The connection made the location a fitting choice for this special event, adding a personal and meaningful touch to the occasion,” she stated.
Mrs Martha Duah noted that the “items donated are expected to go a long way in easing the challenges faced by the mothers”.
Mrs. Duah also used the opportunity to encourage mothers to take excellent care of their children, gifts entrusted to them by the society.
She stressed the importance of nurturing and supporting children to help them achieve their full potential.
She also advised mothers to seek employment opportunities to improve their ability to support their families.

The donation ceremony was warmly received by the hospital’s staff and patients.
Mothers in the maternity ward expressed their gratitude for the thoughtful gesture, describing it as timely and impactful.
The Matron of Saint Jude Hospital, Mrs. Janet Bavu, thanked MAMAC for their kindness and unwavering support.
She noted that “such contributions are invaluable to the hospital and its patients”, and she praised the foundation “for its dedication to uplifting mothers”.
