Chairman COKA Clarifies: Ken Agyapong Campaign Statement Not About Him

A former New Patriotic Party(NPP) Chairman, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, has issued a clarification following a statement released by the campaign team of Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong, which mentioned the name “KOKA.”

In recent hours,  (COKA) revealed that he has been receiving numerous calls and inquiries from concerned supporters and the general public who mistakenly assumed the statement referred to him.

In a brief disclaimer, Chairman COKA explained that the individual cited in the release is not him, but rather Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu (popularly known as KOKA), a well-known loyalist of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

“Please be informed that the statement made by Hon. Ken Agyapong’s team is not in reference to me (Chairman COKA).

The person in reference is Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu (KOKA). I kindly ask everyone to take note.” Chairman COKA stated.

The clarification comes in the wake of a strong-worded release from Hon. Agyapong’s campaign, warning Dr. Bawumia’s camp over what it described as “vicious and unprovoked attacks” launched by Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu (KOKA).

Chairman COKA made this statement on Dess FM in Bekwai on Friday, October 3 and subsequently posted a clarification note on his facebook wall; emphasizing that he remains committed to his principles and does not wish for his name to be drawn into the current political exchanges.

He concluded his message with a reminder of his personal mantra: “COKA, I care.”
