The delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency of the Ashanti Region have thrown their weight behind flagbearer hopeful Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum, declaring their confidence in his vision, leadership style, and track record as the party intensifies preparations for its upcoming flagbearership election.

The delegates, comprising polling station executives, electoral area coordinators, and constituency leaders, expressed strong admiration for Dr. Adutwum’s commitment to education, human capital development, and national transformation.
They noted that his performance as former Education Minister, particularly in advancing STEM education and restructuring the educational sector, positions him as the ideal candidate to lead the NPP into the 2028 general elections.
During an interaction with the delegates as part of his campaign tour today, November 25,2025, Dr. Adutwum shared his bold vision for Ghana’s future, emphasizing innovation, job creation, and skills development as key pillars of his leadership agenda.
The delegates praised him as a “practical, visionary, and development-driven leader” whose ideas reflect the aspirations of both the party base and ordinary Ghanaians.
They further commended his humility and accessibility, noting that he remains connected to the grassroots despite his national responsibilities.
Several delegates described him as a unifier capable of strengthening party structures, energizing the youth, and enhancing the NPP’s electoral fortunes.
Dr. Adutwum, in response, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and pledged to continue engaging delegates across the country. He reiterated his commitment to running a clean, issues-based campaign focused on solutions rather than politics of division.
He assured the delegates that under his leadership, the NPP would pursue policies that improve livelihoods, expand educational opportunities, and prepare Ghana’s workforce for a rapidly changing global economy.
As the party’s flagbearership race gains momentum, the endorsement from Atwima Nwabiagya South adds to a growing wave of support for Dr. Adutwum, strengthening his position among grassroots delegates.
