Dr Bawumia is leading now, “no Kennedy Agyapong no vote” slogan must stop – Ejisu MP

The Member of Parliament for Ejisu, Hon Kwabena Boateng, has called for an end to the “No Kennedy Agyapong No Vote” chantings by some party supporters following the NPP’s presidential primaries.

He emphasized that no party member who has the party’s interest at heart should withdraw from party activities just because their preferred candidate lost the race.

Boateng noted that Kennedy Agyapong himself has urged his supporters to rally behind the party, and it’s time his followers heeded his call.

“We all know Kennedy Agyapong has a strong following in the party, and all these members have to keep working for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for the love of the party,” he said.

The MP stressed that unity is crucial for the NPP’s success, stating that the party will struggle with a divided front.

“The most important thing for the NPP is to come together and win power in the 2028 polls,” he emphasized.

Boateng urged party members to support Dr. Bawumia, saying it’s time to put the party’s interests above individual preferences.
