Grace Afriyie crowned queen of Valentine at By-Grace hospital and OTEC FM joint vals day health event

Grace Afriyie imerge crowned Queen of Valentine at a joint health screening and wellness event held by By-Grace Medical Centre and OTEC 102.9 FM in Kumasi.

The event that took place at the premises of OTEC FM on Friday February, 2026, a day before valentine day, themed “Good Health & Love” (Apomuden Pa Ne Odo), focuses on providing free medical checkups to individuals from all walks of life, emphasizing that health is a vital component of love.

The initiative is an annual collaboration between OTEC FM and the hospital to promote preventive healthcare during the Valentine’s season.

Houndreds of participants received free health screenings, including blood type testing, blood pressure monitoring, glucose testing, general wellness consultations, and soverners
The event, which was aired live throughout, received a host of health experts who came through to teach attendees and listeners on maintaining excellent health.
Grace Afriyie was honored as the “Queen of Valentine” for her distinguished participation and contribution during the festivities.
Speaking in an interview after receiving the award on the sidelines, Ms Afriyie expressed her delight to imerge as the winner in a contest at such a prestigious event
She further applauded By-Grace hospital and OTEC FM for putting such an event together, pointing out that it has allowed the attendees to save money.
Again, she cited that the health screening has enabled a number of people to determine their health statuses and that the health screening has prevented many premature deaths.
Other participants who graced the occasion also added their voice by calling on people who missed out on the second edition to try and attend next year or visit the hospital for health consultations.
