Man, 50, burnt to death after allegedly killing wife in Brodi

A 50-year-old man, Kwame Jack, has been burnt to death by irate youth after he allegedly killed his 43-year-old wife.

The man according to report murdered his wife Abena Donkor, at Brodi in the Tain District of the Bono Region following some misunderstandings

According to reports, the incident happened on the night of Monday.

The suspect is said to have fled the scene after the attack.

Members of the youth in Brodi later combed the bush in search of him.

 A source from the community said his body was found this later at the Brodi Cemetery on Tuesday and he was confirmed dead.

“The youth at Brodi rushed to the bush and searched for him. We saw the body at Brodi Cemetery this afternoon and he was dead.”

The bodies of both Kwame Jack and Abena Donkor have been deposited at the Nsawkaw Government Hospital Mortuary for preservation and police investigation.

The Nsawkaw Police are currently handling the case.

Police have appealed to the public to remain calm as investigations continue into the incident.
