National Chairman hopeful for the New Patriotic Party, NPP, Hon. Boakye Agyarko, says he will build a solid electoral machine upon which the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will stand to claim victory in the 2028 general elections.
Speaking during a press soiree in Accra on Tuesday, Mr. Agyarko outlined his vision for the party ahead of the internal contest.
“My task as Chairman is going to be leading a rebuilding, rebranding the party and leading a united front where all will be on board to ensure victory for the NPP in the next general polls.”
This comes after some constituency chairpersons in the party, together with some dignitaries, volunteered to pick nomination forms for him at the party headquarters.
Hon. Boakye Agyarko assured party members that he is ready to work for the party and for the flagbearer to make the NPP attractive enough to win power again.
He called on delegates to trust his leadership and give him the opportunity to lead the party to victory in 2028.
