Asomdwee Ntontom Som establishes Temple of Rabbi as Global Pilgrimage Centre
The founder and leader of Asomdwee Ntontom Som, a global religious movement, Okrokroni Nyame Somafo Yawoh, has established the Temple of Rabbi at Ekumfi Otuam in the Central Region to serve as a major pilgrimage centre for people of diverse religious backgrounds.
The temple, which is described by its founder as the Third Temple, is designed as a spiritual replica drawing inspiration from the Kaaba in Mecca and the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem.
According to Okrokroni Nyame Somafo Yawoh, the facility is intended to bring together worshippers from different faiths, including Christians, Muslims and Traditionalists, in pursuit of spiritual unity, healing and peace.
Speaking during a national media engagement with a cross-section of journalists on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Otuam, Okrokroni Nyame Somafo Yawoh led the journalists on a tour of the temple and explained its spiritual significance and intended activities.
He declared that, as the promised Messiah sent by Rabbi, he had a mandate to promote unity among humanity and create a spiritual environment where people from different religious backgrounds could come together.
“As the promised Messiah sent by Rabbi, I am mandated to unite humanity and bring people of diverse faiths together in peace and spiritual fellowship,” he stated.
Temple to Host Periodic Healing Programmes
Okrokroni Nyame Somafo Yawoh disclosed that worshippers and pilgrims who visit the sacred grounds would have the opportunity to participate in periodic healing programmes and other spiritual activities.
He explained that the rituals would include encircling the sacred temple structure, which he said was intended to facilitate healing, forgiveness, the acquisition of spiritual power and prosperity.
“Worshippers who visit the Holy Ground will participate in periodic healing programmes, including rituals involving the encircling of the sacred temple structure for healing, forgiveness, power and prosperity,” he explained.
He said the temple would serve as a spiritual destination for individuals seeking divine intervention and deeper religious experiences.
Founder Highlights National Peace and Socio-Economic Development
During his interaction with the media, Okrokroni Nyame Somafo Yawoh also shared his spiritual teachings and addressed issues relating to Ghana’s socio-economic development.
He emphasised the need for national peace and unity, while discussing challenges surrounding spiritual claims made by various religious groups.
The founder further outlined his perspectives on the role of spirituality in addressing national challenges and promoting peaceful coexistence among Ghanaians.
He said the Temple of Rabbi would provide a platform for spiritual engagement while encouraging unity among people of different faiths.
The establishment of the temple at Ekumfi Otuam forms part of the religious movement’s broader vision of creating a pilgrimage centre with international appeal.
