Ghanaians still waiting for NDC’S promised jobs after two years – Dr. Bawumia

Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party,Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, says the NPP has a duty to hold the NDC government accountable, as Ghanaians are yet to receive answers to the many problems facing the country.

Addressing delegates at the NPP National Delegates Conference at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, Dr. Bawumia said nearly two years into the NDC administration, its promise of three-shift job opportunities under the 24-hour economy has not materialized.

According to him, there are no signs of the thousands of jobs promised to the youth, leaving many Ghanaians jobless and disappointed.

Dr. Bawumia also pointed to the NDC’s promise of establishing a Women’s Development Bank, noting that to date, there is nothing to show for it, despite the fanfare that accompanied the promise.

He stressed that the NPP, as the major opposition party, will not sit aloof while Ghanaians suffer, but will continue to demand accountability and answers from the government.

He assured Ghanaians that the NPP is reorganizing and will present a better alternative that will create real jobs and deliver on its promises for the development of the nation.
