Labadi explosion: Let us pray for the injured – President Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has sent a message of My condolences to families of the victims of yesterday’s gas explosion.

The outgoing President on his twitter handle called on Ghanaians to continuosly pray for the injured.
There also at least 39 injured according to the Deputy Health Minister, Dr. Victor Bampoe, who toured some health facilities administering medical care to the injured after the explosion.

A gas filling station near the Trade Fair Center in Accra exploded yesterday injuring many with suspected number of people dead.

The caused of the explosion is stillnot clear but eyewitnesses said a number of people were at the filling station during the time of the explosion.

The fire service rushed to the scene to bring the huge flames under control but reports from the scene indicated that after the explosion, thick a black smoke was billowing into the sky.
