
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will from today, December, 20, begin a three-day tour of the Eastern region.
The tour will be the last of such regional tours of the year which is to get first-hand information on the region.
The President will begin his tour at Akosombo with at a visit to the Volta Dam and facilities.
He will then depart to Asesewa and later address a durbar of chiefs and people of Upper Manya Krobo.
On the second day, President Akufo-Addo will be at Kwahu and pay a courtesy call on the Kwahumanhene.
He will visit Akyem Fosu and inspect the site for a Proposed Technical College.
President Akufo-Addo will make a brief stopover at Nkwakaw to inspect town roads.
He will end the second day of the tour with a visit to Ghana consolidated Diamand, at Akwatia after a visit to the Youth Training Centre.
On Friday the 22nd of December, President Akufo Addo will enter the final day of the tour with inspection of Agro-Tech Ghana Ltd, a poultry farm and Hatchery at Apedwe.
He will join some children at Kyebi for a Christmas party.
He will then inspect the abandoned Affordable Housing Project at Koforidua.
President Akufo-Addo will end his tour of the region with a durbar of chiefs and people of New Juabeng at the Jackson Park.
