Executive Family And Friends Club Presents Food Items To Remar Kids

An all male group by name Executive Family and Friends Club in Kumasi on Saturday donated items valued at GhC 12, 000.00 to kids at the Remar Kumasi Children’s Home at Pataase.

Some of the items were toiletries, soaps, detergents as well as foods such as bags of rice, boxes of cooking oil, mackerel sardines and soft drinks as well as water.

At a brief presentation at the premises of the orphanage, Mr Martin Adu Gyamfi, Chairman of the Executive Family and Friends Club said the group decided to share what they had with the all female branch of the Remar Kumasi Home.

“Our club has been purposely set up to undertake such donations toward such orphanages and to also support the needy in the society and so we are determined to continue with such philanthropic gestures as the years come by”, the Club leader stated.

The Executive Family Friends Club consists of 26 members who are all males.

These are persons doing their individual jobs with some linked to government settings.

The Chairman who was accompanied by four others to the Orphanage said the main aim of the group is to assist the needy as well as help their membership with welfare measures. 

“Our group is committed to using our welfare dues to support ourselves and to also carry out donations to places such as Remar Home and others”, Mr Adu Gyamfi stressed. 

Appreciation:

Receiving the items after praying and singing for the Club members, Priscilla Doe, Secretary of Remar Kumasi Children’s Home thanked the group for the gesture. 

She noted that the items presented were needed at the home and would serve the purpose it was intended.

Miss Doe disclosed that the Home has an all female kids numbering about 20 with the youngest at age two (2)  with the oldest aged 16.

“We are grateful to the Executive Family And Friends Club for this donation to us and we pray that the members receive from God all that they deseire so they can function and perform their duties excellently well”, Miss Doe prayed.
