Asante Kotoko football club dissolves management

The Executive Chairman of Ghana premier league football club, Asante Kotoko, Dr. Kwame Kyei has dissolved the management team of the club with immediate effect.

In a statement signed and released on Monday, August 13, 2018, by the Administrative Manager of the club, Rose Padmore Yeboah, has asked all members of the dissolved management to “hand over their offices to the club’s secretariat.”

The management of the club which was formed in December 2017, comprises Lawyer Yaw Boafo (Head of legal affairs), Dr. Michael Leat (Head of Medical team), Lawyer Thomas Boakye Agyemang  (Accra Representative) and Obed Acheampong  (Communication manager) has been asked to step down.

The statement also assured the club’s supporters a new management team “will be announced soon”.

The Executive chairman in the statement showed his appreciate to them and assured the club’s teeming supporters of a new management been formed soon.
