Ghana has recorded 193 new coronavirus cases with on related death raising the country’s total number of confirmed cases and deaths to 834 and 9 respectively.
The Ghana Health Service has displayed on its official website. 16 more people have recovered according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS). This brings the total number of recovered patients to 99.
Contact tracing teams and lab technicians were tasked to trace some initial about 10,000 at-risk-persons but have already tested some 50,000.
Total samples tested so far now stands at 60, 916 with 1.37 % testing positive.
The results of these backlog of samples when released does not mean the number of new cases recorded on the day of the report.
