Coronavirus: Ghana’s case count now 7,768 with 35 deaths

Ghana has recorded 152 new coronavirus cases with another one fatality, that is according to the Ghana Health Service.

This brings the country’s total cases to 7,768. The Service has also reported that nine people have recovered from the virus bringing the total of recoveries to 2,540 with 35 deaths.

The update as of Saturday, May 30, 2020 shows that the Bono East region has become the 15th out of Ghana’s 16 regions to record a COVID-19 case.

Regional breakdown

The Greater Accra region still leads as the region with the most number of cases followed by the Ashanti Region.

Volta Region – 71

Western North Region – 65

Northern Region – 37
