CEO of SharpHerbs donates to KATH Burns and Plastic Unit
The Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) of SharpHerbs, producers of Imboost Herbal Mixture (Police Ni Aduro No), Dr. Stephen Nyarko Sharp has presented an undisclosed amount of money to the Burns and Plastic Unit of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
The money is to facilitate the treatment of an 8-year-old boy who has suffered burnt injury from the waist down to his feet and also cater for other needs of the Unit.
Dr. Nyarko Sharp said he was touched by the story of the young boy and efforts by staff of the Unit in treating the wounds hence the donation. He said since saving lives is the hallmark of SharpHerbs, he sees this move as another way of helping other professionals and experts in other medical fields to achieve the same goal.
Head of the Burns and Plastic Unit, Dr Hoyt Williams, who received the donation praised the CEO of SharpHerbs and said the gesture has come at the needed time.
Dr Hoyt promised the donation will be put to its intended use and also urge other philanthropists and corporate bodies to emulate what SharpHerbs has done.
The CEO of SharpHerbs, who was accompanied by some staff of the company were later taken round the Unit to see at first hand the various departments and the day to day activities of the Unit.
