Don’t appoint former management members else you’ll fail – Kotoko Circles warn CEO

The Chairman for the Brong Ahafo Regional Circles Council of Kumasi Asante Kotoko (BARCC), Kennedy Anyan declares that Nana Yaw Amponsah fail should he appoint any of the recent past management members into his administration.

“Nana Yaw Amponsah will fail if he allows people to influence him to appoint people into his management. He will face problems if he appoints any of the past management into his administration because we regret working with them” Anyan told OTEC FM

There has been media speculations that the new CEO won’t have the sole right of appointing his team of management.

It is understood that the board of directors will input into the selection process

“He should stand firm and appoint the right people for the job because Kotoko is not a one-man job.” He added

The Ghana football association in a letter today request from the porcupine worriors to confirm their participation in this year’s CAF Total champions league.

Asante Kotoko will need a management team earnestly as they have until 11th September to confirm their participation or otherwise.

Reports gathered has it that three members of the recent past management team may be considered for positions in the yet to be composed management.

Last season, Asante kotoko were buttered from the competition by Etoile Sportive de sahel on 2:3 aggregate after leading 2 nil from the first leg.

Asante Kotoko dropped to the confederations cup but found San Pedro of ivory coast too difficult to hurdle.
