A/R: Adansi North DCE Commissions Six-Unit Classroom Block at Bodwesango

Adansi Asokwa North District Chief Executive (DCE) Andrew Adu Boahen has commissioned a six-unit classroom block for Bodwesango SHS in the Asokwa constituency in the Ashanti region.

The school comprises a dormitory, kitchen and dining hall.

It was built by the Adansi North District Assembly funded with the district assembly common fund (DACF)

Addressing a durbar during the commissioning, Hon. Andrew Adu Boahen reiterated government’s commitment to supporting educational programs and projects to foster free education programs.

“Since I assumed office as DCE I have rolled out several projects and programs including assistance to market traders as well as apprentices, although there’s no way we can complete all projects this year, every community within our district has benefited from one or more projects” he stressed.

However he admitted the road from Asokwa Junction to Bodwesango is a challenge but verily it will done.

He cautioned Ghanaians against voting for a party that will disrupt the free education program and also bring hardship on them.

Andrew Adu Boahen entreated voters particular those in Adansi Asokwa constituency to vote for Nana Addo Dankwa- Akufo Addo as president and K. T. Hammond as member of parliament.

Some of the students confided in OTEC FM’s Isaac Nsiah Foster that before the construction of dormitory block some of the students used to sleep in classrooms with congestion.

” we were calling that place HIPC, but now we feel very comfortable at the new dormitory so we are saying thank you to Nana Akufo Addo” Bodwesango students hinted.

They further disclosed before the constitution of the new dinning hall they were sitting in 12 on a table at dinning hall but after the construction of the new dormitory block they now sit in 5 at a table.
