Security analyst wants Asiedu Nketia arrested over ‘treasonable’ comment

Executive Director of Africa Centre for Security and Terrorisms, Emmanuel Kotin is calling on security agencies to immediately arrest the General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia for making what he describes as ‘treasonable’ comments.
Mr Asiedu Nketia has defended the emergence of fresh vigilante groups within his party.
He told Joy News‘ Kwesi Parker-Wilson, the emergence of the groups like Hawks is “an appropriate natural response” to the failure of the Akufo-Addo government to rein in its party vigilante groups.
But Mr Kotin said any serious country conscious of its security would have arrested Asiedu Nketia to answer questions over his treasonable comments with immediate effect.
He urged the security agencies in the country to be up and doing.
He also blamed both NDC and NPP for the upsurge of vigilante groups in the country.
